Asopao is one of the many dishes Puerto Ricans enjoy. They eat mostly meat alone or with red beans and rice. They love stews with meat and vegetables mixed in.
Holidays
Puerto Ricans celebrate the same holidays as Americans, except they have a couple of their own. For example, on July 17th the celebrate the birth of Luis Muñoz Rivera. He played a very important part of Puerto Rico's political autonomy in the late 1850's.
Ways of behavior
Puerto Ricans are known for their warm hospitality and cheerful spirt. Their way of life is celebrate through their music and holidays, which makes them very special people. Close friends and family member always greet with hola/hello or adiós/goodbye with a kiss on the cheek.
language
There are only two Official Puerto Rican languages, Spanish and English. Schools in Puerto Rico use English as a language class available for students to take.
